Goshen Friends School offers two non-needs-based grants. The Diversity Grant is for children who bring diversity to our school, and the Quaker Grant is for children of Quaker families. Families applying for these grants alone do not need to file their financial information.
Financial aid is very limited and is given on a first-come, first-served basis. We use School and Student Services (SSS) to process financial aid applications. SSS is a service of the National Association of Independent Schools. Based on the financial information you provide, SSS gives us an estimated amount your family can contribute to educational expenses. This helps us make fair and objective financial aid decisions. To begin your financial aid application for the 2018-19 school year, please follow the steps below:
Online
- Please go to www.solutionsbysss.com/parents.
- Click on the prompt to begin your Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). You only have to complete one PFS even if you have several children applying to our school. SSS charges a fee of $49 per family.
- You will be given a password that will allow you to return to your PFS at a later date before submitting it.
- You will be given instructions for submitting required backup documents by uploading them through the parent portal. Your documents will be handled with the utmost level of security. To read more about SSS’s document security, go to www.solutionsbysss.com.
By Mail
If you choose to mail the required documents, you must download the cover sheet from the family portal and follow directions there. Note: If you apply for financial aid online, your information will be delivered to our school on a more timely basis, allowing us to make a faster decision about your eligibility for financial aid.
