Goshen Friends School is pleased to offer assistance for paying for a Goshen education.
The Welcome Scholarship is a needs-based scholarship for students who are new to the Lower School (grades K through 5). This includes students moving from our Preschool into Kindergarten, as well as students coming to Lower School from outside GFS.
The Barbara Dixon Scholarship is a needs-based scholarship for children from the greater West Chester area who bring diversity to our school. These can be full tuition grants for qualified students entering grades K through 5.
Recipients of the Barbara Dixon Scholarship and the Welcome Scholarship are asked to apply for assistance through School and Student Services (SSS) of the National Association of Independent Schools. Recipients of these scholarships can also be considered in subsequent years for financial aid.
Goshen Friends School offers two non-needs-based grants for children who bring diversity to our school (Diversity Grant) and children of Quaker families (Quaker Grant). These opportunities are available to those enrolling in the Preschool and the Lower School. Families applying for these grants alone do not need to file their financial information.
All Goshen families can file for Financial Aid by applying through SSS. Applications must be received by February 24, 2017. Please be timely in submitting your information as funds will be limited for the upcoming school year.
